Celebrating Growth: Ashley Duke's Journey to House Manager 

At Senior Home Companions and Story Cottage, we believe that exceptional leaders are built through compassion, dedication, and a commitment to continuous growth. Today, we're proud to celebrate Ashley Duke on her promotion to House Manager at Story Cottage West Clay. 

For the past three years, Ashley has been a trusted and compassionate member of the Story Cottage family, consistently demonstrating personalized care, outstanding customer service, and a genuine love for the residents and families she serves. 

Ashley's journey has been one of intentional growth. Over the past year and a half, she has trained alongside each of our House Managers, learning every aspect of leadership while also stepping in to manage the cottage during vacations and other times of need. Her willingness to learn, lead, and support her teammates has made her a natural fit for this next chapter. 

Committed to providing the highest quality dementia care, Ashley has earned both her Certified Memory Care Professional (CMCP) and Qualified Memory Care Professional (QMCP) certifications. Combined with her 10 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), these achievements reflect her dedication to professional excellence and to the residents who call Story Cottage home. 

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ashley is a devoted mother to her three daughters, who inspire her every day and remain at the center of everything she does. Her caring nature extends from her family to the residents she serves, creating meaningful relationships built on trust, kindness, and compassion. 

As House Manager at Story Cottage West Clay, Ashley will continue fostering the warm, welcoming environment that residents and families have come to know and love. Her leadership is rooted in service, teamwork, and a genuine passion for helping others live with dignity and purpose.
