Story Cottage provides a beautiful and safe home-like environment with unparalleled care. With just 8 to 10 residents in each home, the residents receive personal, individualized care — in a beautiful cottage home nestled in convenient neighborhoods. Story Cottage at Meridian Hills is an exclusive memory care residence with a staffing ratio unheard of in most memory care communities. Abundant engagement activities help our residents to remain stimulated and involved.

At Story Cottage your loved one’s safety is our top priority. Individuals with an Alzheimer’s or Dementia diagnosis often face unique risks due to cognitive decline. Each room is thoughtfully designed and fully furnished with a unique closet to help make decisions easier. Places such as the bathroom were intentionally designed to prevent accidents, along with secure safety features such as passcodes on all the doors. There are emergency response systems in place, and personalized monitoring set up to track movements at night and intervene when necessary without compromising your loved one's independence

We had the honor of welcoming Dr. Donna Wilcock to Story Cottage — a leader in Alzheimer’s research and a true inspiration.

From growing up in a coal mining town in England to becoming a globally recognized expert in neurodegenerative disorders, her journey is a powerful reminder that purpose can unfold in unexpected ways. What began as a spark from a teacher turned into a career dedicated to understanding the brain and helping bring life-changing treatments to patients.

Today, she leads groundbreaking work focused on Alzheimer’s disease — helping move the field closer to safer, more effective therapies and offering real hope to families everywhere.
