Over the past few months, we’ve had the joy of partnering with an incredible group of students from Carmel High School’s HOSA medical leadership club. Their community awareness campaign, Senior Spark, was created with one mission in mind: to promote cognitive health and mental wellness in seniors.
These students brought so much energy and heart into Story Cottage. They led engaging activities like bingo, Easter egg hunts, and even hosted a lemonade stand—raising $200 for the Alzheimer’s Association. Each activity was thoughtfully chosen to support brain health, spark joy, and deepen meaningful connection between generations.
Their project didn’t just make an impact here—it earned second place at the HOSA State Competition, and now they’re headed to the international stage, where students from across the country and around the world will compete and share their work. 🤍✨
